Did you ever come up with a back-story for your character-Malcom? Where did he come from? Etc?
I would like to think that I prepared for Malcom by hanging out on street corners, watching people, reading a lot of playboy. Just hanging around being a man of the town. Trying to watch a little super fly… typical things an actor would do to prepare for his role. Especially the playboy. Malcom is serious about his craft.
Do you see yourself in that character?
Um… I don't know. I like ladies. I'm not gonna lie about that. I like them a lot. They're pretty, fun, they make me smile. So… I guess there's a little bit of him in me.
How did u meet Dennis?
I met Dennis at an open audition. It was for the movie, Grassfire… and, before this I never really acted before but, my sister kind of dared me to go and audition. I kind of almost chickened out but my sister kept urging me to go. I don't know if Dennis knows this but I was really hung over the day of the audition. The day before I was celebrating my birthday and I was traaaaaaashed.
What do you do for a living?
I work as a claims representative for an insurance company.
Do you plan on pursuing acting as a career?
I don't know. It's real fun. I didn't think I'd have as much fun as I've been having. I do like the whole "pretend' aspect of it… like, acting like you're a different person. But, I've thought about it and I defiantly wouldn't be opposed to it. Hell, I still got a nice run left in me. Maybe I'll run out to the east coast and see if I'm as charming as I think I am.
What's your real name?
Some people know me as Nathan… but, Bart is my alias. Bart's the fun one. Nathan's the serious one.
Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Memphis, TN. I actually moved around a lot as a kid. I lived in Texas for a while and later moved to Kansas.

What's your favorite pick up line to use on the ladies?
I really don't go for pick up lines. I go for brute honesty . I endear myself to them. I give them the ole puppy dog eyes and hit'em with the old, "Hey… I'm pretty cool. Wanna go out sometime?" They're like... I didn't see that coming. Sure… why not.
Do you have a love of your life right now?
No… not really. I'm kind of playing the field. I've just been hanging out… sampling the goods if you will.
Now that production is over, do you miss it?
Yea. Dennis is a great guy and it was always fun filming with him. I always enjoyed every chance I got to hang out with everyone. Everyone is professional and they take things seriously but, they also have a lot of fun and know how to treat people. It was a pleasure. I'd do it again.
Have you worked on any other films?
I did mainly Dennis Ward's films. I did one thing with a friend of mine. It was a short where I played a gangster. Every now and then I'll do a few shorts up here in Kansas. I've been kind of slacking off but thinking about getting back into it.

What was your favorite TV show as a kid?
Ooh… good question. Dukes of Hazard, Night Rider… this one cartoon where this kid turned into a car… that was pretty cool. I liked G.I. Joe… and, of course, Fraggle Rock. I was a little hyper active as a kid so my Dad would usually just put me outside and I'd run around till I got tired.
Do you play a musical instrument?
I'm trying to learn to play the guitar. I'm working on that right now. One of my big loves is music. Plus, I'd like to serenade the ladies. There's always double motives for everything. I mean as kid that's why I learned how to walk. So I could walk to the ladies. Not because I needed to. It was a tool I needed to use to get to the Ladies.
